My Writing & Artwork

About my writing: Right now one of my biggest goals and projects is my book. I am putting together a book of my best writing & poetry. I have been through a lot in life,

and the book will cover a wide range of topics that almost anyone, at any age can relate to. Most are about love and loss, some more serious topics such as struggling

with weight issues, anorexia, friendships, family matters, and I hope to touch on subjects that relate to almost anyone. I have been enjoying

writing for many years, and graduated from all of my writing classes with high honors, even winning awards for some of my peices throughout highschool. Now in my adulthood, I

have had several of my peices published in magazines and have written articles about cat breeds, dog breeding and various topics. It's something I

really enjoy and I hope you will enjoy it too! I will keep you updated when the book in completed and when the publishing date will be! The book will be accompanied by

my own personal project photoshoots to depict each peice of writing, and will include credits to each one of the models used. I am very enthusiastic and excited about

this project and I hope when the time comes everyone will show their support by puchasing a published copy! The following are some samples of some of the work included.

At Night

Every night I lay in bed

And I am so alone

The solitude closes in on my skin

Wrapping me up in the cold and yearning

And I'm thinking and dreaming

About not feeling so alone

Not being this alone all of the time

It makes me cry unashamed alone in my room

Filling my empty bed with sorrow

Because my dreams are mostly

About me not being alone...with you.

When my thoughts take me over to you

The tips of my toes start to tingle

Warmth envelopes my entire being

From the inside and out

And the salty tear stained pillow becomes your chest

I used to sink my tired head into

For a moment passes and

The world is so perfect all around

Falling around me in droplets of warmth and feeling safe

With your arms wrapping me up, your surrounding me.

The next thing you know, it's morning

And I am all alone, again.

Three Things

There are just three things

You need to know about me

These things give me the desire

To take good care of those around me

These things are my patience and

My reason for singing

These three things are why I am so happy,

And grounded in my life

These three things are the breath of fresh air

Surrounding me

And the reason that my laugh can be infectious

These three things are the reason I can hold you in my arms,

The way that I do

When you look at me and see that something in my eyes,

It's those three things, written all over my aching heart and soul

These three things are my life, can't you see?

These three things are everything, they are a part of me.

My soul wouldn't love like this without,

These three things

These tears I cry for you, wouldn't fall so hard

If it wasn't for these three things

These three things are not things at all.

These three things are life, and in me they have become

The most beautiful creatures I believe God has created

And without getting to know these three things,

You are missing out,

On what you've been missing of me.

My little boys,

Are just three little people to get to know

Three little boys who are a part of who I am

Who can give you three more ways to love,

And three more ways to know me

So won't you do three things for me,

And get to know me in three more little ways,

Take my hand and let me show you,

How your life can be three times better
